Our fixed windows are found on the hardest working boats, like this supply boat in the gulf of Mexico made by Metalcraft, Ontario.
Fixed Window
There are two to choose from - Fixed or New sail. The two are similar but have different applications. All our windows, like the one below, are custom made to suit your application.
Fixed windows are the ideal windows for exposed areas. Bomon fixed windows are waterproof and exceed Coast Guard and ISO 12216 testing specifications. A fixed plate, 1/4"(6mm) or 3/8" (10mm) thick tempered glass, is compression mounted in a rubber U channel.

This window is designed for sailboats. Slightly recessing the window will protect it from the rigging and once fitted is much more streamlined to the hull (on the inside) than the regular fixed window.
